My work operates in a realm that comes before associations and “knowing”; a realm of pure feeling that in turn has implications for the world of ideas that exists beyond. The objects and circumstances I create function as opportunities for the viewer to face uncertainty and contemplate the subtleties of vision. Each piece occupies a space between the ideal and the real, between the logical and the physical, between what the mind knows and the eye sees.
